Main Duties & Responsibilities

TriMas is seeking a well-qualified Finance Intern to support our CEO and CFO in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The Intern will assist our Finance Team with project-level financial analysis.

The position is a part-time, paid internship requiring on average 30 hours per week. The candidate should be flexible and willing to take on multiple tasks.

Job Duties

  • Navigate financial information and data
  • Perform project-level financial analysis, which includes producing analysis (tables, graphs, etc.) through Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Complete other finance-related projects as assigned


  • Working knowledge of finance
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration
  • Detail Oriented
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a MBA with Finance or Accounting undergraduate degree
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
