Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinate and expedites the flow of materials and components of manufactured parts. Reviews and distributes production work conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates. Compiles reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:



Expedite any projects on the production floor where necessary.

Work with Quality Control and Production Leads in regard to rework and rejected product in order to quickly act on any potentially late projects.

Reports all equipment that may be inoperable, or is in need of maintenance.

Operate forklift and pallet jacks as required.

Support production through the manufacturing process as required.

Works with production leads to quickly get each project moved along.

Verifies that all product and materials has accurate and appropriate identification tags documentation, and/or paperwork.

Coordinates with subcontractors and prepares necessary paperwork and documentation for all jobs requiring outside processing.

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully, develops alternative solutions, works well in group problem solving situations.

Pursues training and development opportunities when/where available; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, shares expertise with others, promotes maintenance and effectiveness of the quality management system.

Exhibits objectivity and openness to new thoughts/ideas/views. Gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit. Participates in the implementation, effectiveness and maintenance of the quality management system, and works to continually improve the system by enhancing customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.

Displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, includes appropriate personnel in decision-making process, and follows Allfast policies and procedures.

Displays good understanding of the serious responsibility for quality, and understands their level of participation in the quality process. Employee further understands and is aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.



Observes all Safety, Security, Machine Maintenance and Environmental Manuals, procedures, work instructions, memos, etc. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and/or employee actions or activities, is aware of machine maintenance directions such as lock-out/tag-out, safety and environmental concerns such as protective wear, chemical spills, MSDS, etc.; Uses and maintains equipment, tools and other materials in appropriate manner.

Complies with Allfast Attendance Policy, follows instructions, responds to management direction and can be relied upon to assist when needed, etc.



OTHER COMPETENCIES:

Language Skills:

As part of the Allfast commitment to ensuring that personnel performing work affecting conformity to quality requirements are competent, the ability to read and interpret documents, and record data (on forms, logs, work orders, etc.) in English.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or education degree (GED). Two (2) years experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described are representative of what is required on an average work day. Clearly indicate the level of physical demand that will be required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud.
