Main Duties & Responsibilities

The IT Syteline Support Technician is responsible for supporting managers and users in their day to day interactions with Syteline and associate systems and platforms.

This will include managing and resolving issues using the Sysaid support platform, documenting and evidencing solutions, monitoring and reporting performance, implementing preventative maintenance procedures and supporting colleagues in delivering an efficient and resilient ERP platform.

This role will work alongside and be mentored by the Syteline Technical Consultant. The successful applicant will be looking to develop their role, skills and experience

Responsibilities of the IT Syteline Support Technician:
• Support Syteline and associated platform users in their day to day work
• Work to identify and resolve system and user issues in a professional manner
• Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence to support issue resolution
• Assist in monitoring system integrity and performance – ensuring compliance with KPI’s and SLA’s
• To work with business and team members to define, deliver and support system enhancement
• To ensure compliance with Rieke policies and controls – User Access, SOD etc
• Ensure that Rieke IT and Business management are kept appropriately informed
• Provide support to other regions
• Perform all other duties as required to ensure the successful delivery of IT services worldwide


Required Qualifications of the IT Syteline Support Technician:
• Graduate level education (ideally a University Degree in a relevant IT discipline)
• Understanding of ERP systems
• Understanding of database systems, preferably SQL server
- Understanding of windows server and basic corporate IT environments
• Experience in using Microsoft Office applications
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications of the IT Syteline Support Technician:
• 1-2 years’ experience in supporting Syteline users in a business environment
- Scripting and programing experience, preferably in .NET and other web technologies
- Experience of, information security requirements, IT audit controls, or other legislation as it applies to IT
• Experience supporting or using ERP systems
