Main Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Works with Process Design Group to develop, maintain and improve accuracy of bill of materials and routing on Jobs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Â

  • Set up and maintain item codes (raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods) and BOM.

    Â
  • Receives jobs and reviews them for accuracy.

    Â
  • Updates any incorrect jobs on the Job level and Item level.

    Â
  • Create items codes in the respective IT system.

    Â
  • Create BOMs and routings, work with PDG to ensure BOMs are operationally correct and maintained.

    Â
  • Follow up and resolve variations in a timely manner.

    Â
  • Cleanse databases such as duplicates, inconsistencies, performance, etc… on a routine basis.

    Â
  • Work closely with PDG to input new bills of material as well as modified existing bills to support the engineering change process.

  • Develop and maintain basic product knowledge. Keep informed of market, new products or services, basic technical information, product reliability and other general information of interest to the customer.

  • Offer and obtain assistance from peers or supervisor when needed. Maintain flexibility in performing other related task or functions as required or assigned.

  • Perform other related functions as required or assigned.

  • Basic Level in Excel, Microsoft Word, Windows

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Have the ability to read and interpret prints/specs

  • Conflict resolution and problem solving skills

  • Capability of Multitasking

  • Ability to type at an accurate speed.

  • High School diploma
    Work Experience

  • Minimum of one year of computer experience
    Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively; visual acuity to process paperwork, must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
