Main Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinates with internal departments in handling customer related order\nfollow-up and expedites. Acts as liaison between customer, sales,\nmanufacturing, and quality departments. Prepares quotes and returns to\ncustomer. Processes new customer orders and enters into ERP system.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
Achieves and maintains positive\nrelationships with customers and assures customer satisfaction by resolution of\ncustomer related issues. Receives and processes requests for expediting of\norders. Coordinates past due data between manufacturing and customers. Reviews\nupcoming customer scheduled orders proactively. Serves as liaison between\ncustomer and all internal departments to meet customer and company needs.\nPrepares written communication and maintains filing system. Prepares customer\norder status reports. Prepares customer quotes. Processes new customer orders.



Language Skills:
Ability to read and\ninterpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance\ninstructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and\ncorrespondence. Ability to speak effectively one on one and in small\ngroups with customers and employees.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add,\nsubtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,\ncommon fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and\npercent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Abilities:
Ability to apply\ncommon sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,\noral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several\nconcrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to work\nextended hours as needed to ensure customer and company requirements are met on\na timely basis. This could include work schedule requirements in excess\nof eight (8) hours and occasional Saturdays.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job\nsuccessfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software;\nSpreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Excellent Microsoft Excel\nskills are needed for this position.

Education and/or\nExperience:
High school diploma\nor general education degree (GED). Two years of college\npreferred. Two (2) years customer service experience, preferably in\nan aerospace manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education\nand experience.

Physical Demands:
While performing\nthe duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The\nemployee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required\nto stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color\nvision.

Work Environment:
The noise level in\nthe work environment is usually quiet. The noise level can be loud to\nvery loud for short periods when tracking or expediting orders requires plant\nor manufacturing exposure.
