Main Duties & Responsibilities

Monogram Aerospace\nFasteners, part of TriMas Aerospace, is the leading designer,
\ndeveloper and manufacturer of permanent blind bolts and temporary fasteners
\nused in commercial, business and military aircraft construction and assembly.
\nMonogram, as a recognized leader in blind bolt technology, remains committed to

Completely and independently set-up and operate computerized\nnumerically controlled Tsugami Machine with Fanuc controls. To perform a series\nof machine operations on components to close and exacting tolerances\nand finish per designated specifications. Troubleshoots and resolves problems related\nto machined parts.
Essential Functions
Under general direction with periodic supervision or\nreview performs the following:

  • Sets up Tsugami Machine making required adjustments to\ntooling, collets,\netc. Troubleshoots\nand resolves various problems related to the set-up and operation of tooling, work holding etc. of\nan auto loading C N C machine tool.
  • Read and interpret drawings, programs, and other\ndocumentation to visualize machining required and sequence of operations.
  • Makes input to CNC consistent with set up procedure. Performs dry run to\nverify setup prior to production run. Recognizes and reports errors on programming\nand operations. Collaborates with appropriate personnel in correcting errors.
  • Provides necessary\ncounts, processes documentation correctly, and maintains daily production logs or\nproduction worksheets.
  • Utilizes SPC\ntechniques and methods to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • May be required to perform other jobs as needed by the Company.

    This is a\nfull-time position. Hours of work may vary\ndependent on operational needs

    • E xpertise in\nthe set-up and operation of Tsugami Machine with Fanuc Controls.
    • Familiar with and capable of using Statistical Process Control.
    • Read\nprecision measuring instruments such as\ncomparators, indicator, calipers and micrometers.
    • 3-5 years work experience or equivalent skills and knowledge
    Demonstrated\nability to read and write English of a level required in Company shop\ndocuments.
    Must have\ngood interpersonal skills as well as good written and verbal communications
    Assist other\nemployees as required
    Must\ndemonstrate and be capable of applying mathematical operations using fractions,\ndecimals, trigonometry and geometry as required by machining operations.\nGenerally equivalent to journeyman trade school graduate.
