Main Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

1. Implement TPM, VSM, SPS and promote utilization of key process tools throughout the two facilities to identify and eliminate unfavorable gaps in performance tied to business KPI’s.

2. Develop and deploy DMS using structured problem solving A4 Methodology.

3. Ability to lead, engage and train employees on TOS and continuous improvement methodologies including but not limited to 6 Sigma, 5S. Lean, OEE and others. Partner with HR leadership on broader training plans and processes.

4. Responsible for discrete categories of OEE opportunity including tracking downtime results, improving data integrity and developing improvement plans based on the data.

5. Measure system support to ensure the operations is highlighting the right issues, and assigning employees to continually address the root causes of the biggest issues impacting performance.

6. Establish and manage systems for “right first time” performance philosophy.

7. Provide leadership and develop direct report with a clear sense of direction and focus.

8. Supports safety as a top priority in training, job design and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma. Including VSM, 6-S, A-3, LSS/DMAIC, SPC, Kanban, Flow, OEE.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience running production lines and/or manufacturing management experience 3 â€" 5 years.
