Main Duties & Responsibilities

Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, part of TriMas Aerospace, is the leading designer, developer and manufacturer of permanent blind bolts and temporary fasteners used in commercial, business and military aircraft construction and assembly. The Junior QA Data Analyst inputs test data on product and creates test reports. Ensures the establishment and maintenance of records traceability. Documents, records and tracks raw material. Creates and runs reports used in production meetings. Performs standard clerical duties of filing, keyboarding, checking and verifying information on various types of Company documentation, transferring data to and from various media formats and keeping status of records. Operates Personal Computer and uses software appropriate to department tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision with periodic review performs the following:


  • Reviews, checks and verifies information for accuracy, legibility and completeness on Company documentation such as routers, inspection test sheets, raw material orders etc. Processes information into record-keeping systems. Prepares detailed documentation based on data from other source documents. Ensures the establishment, maintenance and storage of company inspection documentation using specialized clerical processes.

  • Reviews routers for discrepancies. Inputs test data from Quality reports. Creates test reports for shipment to customer. Learns and maintains knowledge in all product specification concerning test report criteria.

  • Maintain files and records in an accurate and timely fashion. Scans documents as required.

  • Works as an active team leader by participating in problem solving, team building, and all other team activities to improve the processes, productivity, quality, etc. of the production operations in the department. Uses interpersonal skills as well as good written and verbal communications. Assists other team members as required.

  • Identifies and resolves production related documentation errors with respective departments for correction of missing, incomplete or illegible data.


    Experience Preferred:

  • High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience

  • At least three (3) years’ work experience in Quality Documentation control-specific skills required regarding the manufacturing of products similar or comparable to those produced by the Company

  • Familiarity with raw materials and military and industrial specifications

  • Proven ability to layout and organize workflow processes and procedures to maximize efficiency of operations

  • Analytical ability demonstrated through written reports drawing conclusions from various data sources

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in dealing with co-workers and contacts from manufacturing, engineering, sales and purchasing as well as customer and/or vendor relations skills

  • Demonstrated ability to extract basic data and put it into formats such as graphs and charts
